Vegetarian Chickpea Sandwich Filling

Spread this chickpea sandwich filling on crusty whole grain rolls or pita bread and serve with lettuce and tomato.

Ingredient

    • 1 (15.5 ounce) can chickpeas, drained and rinsed

    • 1 stalk celery, chopped

    • ½ onion, chopped

    • 1 tablespoon mayonnaise, or to taste

    • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

    • 1 teaspoon dried dill weed

    • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

    1. Gather all ingredients.
    2. Mash chickpeas in a medium bowl with a fork.
